Random Ranting: Who wants to go to Coachella?

I know! Instead of asking for prom I'm asking for Coachella. The line up is incredible this year. Rather than spending money on a class ring, prom, prom dress, prom hair, prom everything, and grad night, I could just spend money on a 3-day pass which would probably be the equivalent of all that or maybe even less, I'd have to make calculations. I don't know that's just the way I think. Oh and Mew's going to be there on the Saturday so yeah...Mew...you know what that means. Practically everyone who knows me knows how much I love them and how much I obsess over them. Plus I'm not a social butterfly, everyone should know that too, I'm socially awkward. And No! Concerts and Festivals are not social events, well they might be, but I wouldn't be there for that, I never am, well except this one time these nice people were talking to me at a Mew event, but they spoke to me, there's actually a picture of me on this magazine's website, it's so embarrassing.

Sorry, I'm stingy...well sort of, not for certain things.

This song spoke out to me today. I was listening to the last.fm radio and all of a sudden it was talking to me.

I was looking at my myspace profile, cos I'm cool like that, and I saw on thw who I'd like to meet section that I put Mew, which is really cool cos I met them already, well except Jonas (singer), so Mew check. Now I can just put Jonas Bjerre. One Day.

PS I will never forget my awkward moment with Silas, now that was awkward. :)

11th Dimension

So earlier this week I finally took the time to watch Julian Casablancas' music video for 11th Dimension.

One question:

Why hadn't I watched this video the day I saw it posted on stereogum!? Why?

I must have been out of my mind, I mean come on it's Julian Casablancas. He's the coolest guy in the history of cool.

Well here is the video from Julian, and there's a lot to be learned from this song, and it's video. Yes not only is he cool, but he's wise, well he's a good songwriter.

Hurts

So I saw these guys on popjustice a while ago, but there was no music to go along with their classy pictures, until last week when NME and BBC sound put them on their lists for Artists to look forward to in 2010. Little did I know that they did have a song and that the video is on youtube and it has been for the last 8 months or so. Well here it is, and I must add that this song is quite attractive, yes attractive. It's gorgeous. Although the song is great, the video is kind of funny, well the way the lady just randomly starts dancing is funny, she reminds me of Megan Prescott (aka Katie on skins). Also, these guys remind me of the Pet Shop Boys in the 80s, except the Pet Shop Boys were a bit more magical cause they popped up in different places. Just watch you'll see.
